2025 – Fighting Words Festival
Babes With Blades Theatre Company’s (BWBTC) 2025 season opens with an extended run of their new works festival, collectively called Fighting Words, running September 6th – 14th at the Bramble Arts Loft, 5545 N. Clark St, 2nd Floor. All performances start at a $10 suggested price and audiences can provide feedback on the scripts following each reading.

BWBTC Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (STREAMING AVAILABLE)
Four Athenians run away to the forest in the name of love (reciprocated and otherwise). They find themselves in the midst of a war between Titania and Oberon, the king and queen of the fairies, over a changeling boy in Titania’s charge. In the midst of this conflict, local workers are attempting (poorly) to rehearse a play to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of Duke Theseus to Queen Hippolyta. All the while, the mischievous Puck is guiding events and creating chaos for fae and mortals alike. Come see this magical Shakespearean comedy with a Babes With Blades twist!
