What to expect during “sensory friendly” performances
There will be a limited number of sensory kits available for patrons to borrow during the performance. Kits will include noise reducing ear muffs, notebook/pen, and fidget toys.
A relaxed environment for the audience will include house lights up to half and the ability to leave the space, with the theater doors open at all times for folks to take a break in the lobby when need be.
The volume will be turned down for the thunder cues.
A pre show speech explaining the violence is not real and extremely safe.
Content warnings as follows:
• realistically staged violence, including stage blood
• war/battle
• death by drowning
• suggestion of execution by beheading (including an implied head in a bag)
• suggestion of execution by hanging/visual of the noose
• suggestion of child murder
• sexual assault
• physical/emotional abuse
• loud noises
• flashing lights
