MEET THE BABES

Melanie Bolen earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University back in 2003, after first having fallen in love with theatre at the age of fifteen. It was around that same time that her love of sword play and theatre came together, when she was first introduced to the BWB Theatre Company. Despite having never performed with the company herself (since she stopped performing back in 2005), she’s been a long time advocate and supporter of the company, and has watched many friends also become part of the company over the years. She’s thrilled at the growth the company has had, and the art they’ve shared with the world, and is excited to be part of the board. Melanie now runs a successful online fitness company, Melanie Bolen Fitness (www.geekyfit.com) also known as @geekyfit, and has been doing so since 2007, as well as being a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor who specializes in functional fitness.
