Girl Found with Idle Muse Theatre Company

A seventeen-year-old girl who mysteriously went missing six years ago resurfaces in a youth shelter in Canada, with no memory of where she’s been. Soon she recalls a name, Sophia Sobin, and a life she wants back. Her Aunt Ellie, and troubled mother, Eva, welcome her home, but Sophie has a hard time remembering things. Who are you if you cannot remember your past? Sophia revives her damaged family, but chaotic past events bubble beneath the surface. Inspired by true life events, “Girl Found” explores how perceptions can be distorted in the desperate, primal pursuit of love.

Girl Found is written by BWBTC Associate Member Barbara Lhota, directed by Associate Member Alison Dornheggen and features our Associate Artistic Director Kathrynne Wolf as Dr. Martha Cole. It runs May 17 through June 10, 2018 at the The Edge Theater. More info can be found at http://www.idlemuse.org//
