SCRIPT
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS WERE (competition is closed for 2007) :
· Scripts must be 60-90 minutes in
length
· The fight depicted in the painting MUST appear
in the play
We requested that entrants consider:
· We prefer to produce plays with
all-female casts. For the purposes of this competition,
we will accept mixed-gender submissions provided that male
characters appear only in supporting roles.
·
We tend to work in small- to mid-sized black box theatres,
so small casts and simple settings will be favored.
· The fight that appears in the painting need not
be the only fight in the production - in fact we encourage
playwrights to include multiple fighting roles.
Scripts were accepted via email and snail
mail.
All submissions had to be postmarked or date-stamped
by April 1st, 2007.
Scripts
submitted will be considered the original creations of the
authors, not as Works for Hire.
The author will retain all copyright rights and privileges
granted thereto.
