Like your inspiration set to music? Check out the current playlist from our fantastic sound designer, Mason Absher.

Or do you have a more visual bent?  Our director, Leigh Barrett shared various movies with the cast during the first week of rehearsals to dig deeper into the style we’re going for:

Maybe you’re a book reader. Check out: The Virginian (otherwise titled The Virginian: A Horseman of the Plains) like our playwright, Jennifer L. Mickelson did.  A 1902 novel set in the Wild West by the American author Owen Wister, it describes the life of a cowboy on a cattle ranch in Wyoming and was the first true western ever written, aside from short stories and pulp dime novels. The Virginian paved the way for many more westerns by such authors as Zane Grey, Louis L’Amour, and several others.

Of course, if you’re like us, you think live theatre is the way to go – so get your tickets to Patchwork Drifter now and feel the inspiration for yourself!

See you at the show!
