Jennifer L. Mickelson is a relative newcomer to the art of stage combat, having begun her training with SAFD Certified Teacher Angela Bonacasa in spring of 2006. She made her Babes debut as Anne of Austria in The Girl in the Iron Mask and has happily stuck around ever since. Jen is also a veteran of the New Plays Development Program, having workshopped her play The Last Daughter of Oedipus in 2008—an experience she highly recommends to any writer. She holds a B.A. in Theatre—Acting from Illinois State University (2005) and is recognized as an Actor-Combatant by the SAFD (2007).
